Tram and Bus Lines

From the Basel SBB (Swiss) or Basel SNCF (French) railway station, take tram no. 10 in direction "Ettingen Bahnhof". Get off at the stop "Batteriestrasse". Cross the street and follow the Wuhrmattstrasse, passing by and almost around the Coop store located on your right. After a short walk you will reach Wuhrmattstrasse no. 13 where the Herbaria are housed. 

Train

If you travel from France or Switzerland get off the train at the station «Basel SBB». From the Basel SBB railway station take tram no. 10 as described above.

If you come from Germany get off the train at «Basel Badischer Bahnhof». From there take bus no. 30 to "Bahnhof SBB". From the Basel SBB railway station take the tram no. 10 as described above.

By car

From Switzerland, Liestal / Zurich: Take the Motorway A2/A3 toward Basel, then motorway A18 toward Delémont. Take exit Muttenz-Nord / Bottmingen, then immediately right toward Bottmingen (Bruderholzstrasse). At the fourth roundabout after ca. 2.5 km (in Bottmingen), take a right toward Basel (Baslerstrasse), and then a left across the tram tracks (Wuhrmattstrasse). The herbarium building is after 200 m on your left. 

From Switzerland, Delemont / Biel: Follow Route 18 toward Basel. Take exit Muttenz-Nord / Bottmingen, then immediately left toward Bottmingen (Bruderholzstrasse). At the fourth roundabout after ca. 2.5 km (in Bottmingen), take a right toward Basel (Baslerstrasse), and then a left across the tram tracks (Wuhrmattstrasse). The herbarium building is after 200 m on your left. 

From Germany: Take highway A5 to Basel and continue on A2 after the customs. Then the motorway A18 toward Delémont. Take exit Muttenz-Nord / Bottmingen, then immediately right toward Bottmingen (Bruderholzstrasse). At the fourth roundabout after ca. 2.5 km (in Bottmingen), take a right toward Basel (Baslerstrasse), and then a left across the tram tracks (Wuhrmattstrasse). The herbarium building is after 200 m on your left.

Parking: If you turn to the left right after the building Wuhrmattstrasse 13 you can park your car straight ahead.

Air

You can fly into Basel airport (BSL) or Zurich Airport (ZRH). From Basel airport, take the bus no. 50 to the train station «Basel SBB». From there catch tram no. 10 as described above. If you fly into Zurich, there are half hourly train connections to «Basel SBB».
